I've got a question about copying a tune from the repository via Hptuners.
My current setup is LT, PP Throttle Body, 232/238 598/601 cam, 3.23 gears and a 4000 stall. Would it be OK to copy the engine table tunes from a car with ls6 intake,mac mid's, level 4 tranny vacuum shift,yank 4000 stall, 231/237/ 595/598, detroit tru-trac with 4.56's with no abs ???

You should always be selective, begin with a compare to
see what's different in the tune, and then copy bits you
understand and agree with.
Bear in mind that these tunes are all just contributed,
not checked, and some people have different ways of
getting to the "right answer" AFR - some better than
others. Some people still jack the IFR table to get AFR
right, whether or not that turns a realistic flow map
into a bullshit compensation of an air mass error, or
whatever. Or you'll get a tune that was perfect for
the car it came from, but that car had 5PSI less fuel
pressure and the tune embedded that error in the
process of getting the right AFR result.
The cam numbers look close enough, although it's
often the overlap (which you don't mention) that is
the big deal for low end drivability tuning. If that
lines up, too, then you may as well take the VE
tables as a starting point. You might look for some
more, similar, ones just so you can "take a vote"
or understand what's roughly normal, and take one
that's in the middle of the pack as the likeliest-sane.

I use it for stock files if i done have one. Why would you want to use some elses files if you dont know their skill level
