Removing pcm controls from manual tranny
I have a project to swap a manual into my TA this winter. My question is this. With a manual transmission swap, do I need to get a manual pcm or can I delete the automatic transmission program entirely? Do I need to have some sort of programming for the manual?

To further clarify what samz28 is saying - the M6 PCM profile will work fine with your Muncie. There's only two outputs in an M6 PCM profile, one for the skip shift and one for the reverse lockout. Error codes for both of these can be turned off with PCM tuning. If you used an A4 PCM profile, you'd have to turn off codes for a dozen or more things.

I`m also putting a manual box in instead of an auto but am i right in saying that a regular box won`t just bolt on due to different crank flange offset and changes in bellhousing design?
