Default Anyone still make a knockout box?

I'm tired of this frickin' 4* of knock. Does anyone still make a knockout box? Anyone want to sell one?

Thanks,

Rich

Contact NineBall, I believe he was the brains behind the box.

He doesn't build them anymore. I asked him last week.

Are these the old style, bad knock sensors? Try the
teflon tape trick (or outright replacement)?

Yah, gonna try that (it's a '98, of course). But I'm a pessimist. I've got a pretty loud valvetrain after my heads/cam, and I wonder if that's what the knock sensors are picking up.

I'm going to replace the knock sensors and harness with the '99+ variants, slap them onto a new valley cover and stick a catch can on the PCV when I do my intake swap.

We'll see if that helps. But a knockout box... that's what I need "just in case".

I use to have the dreaded '98 3.9* of knock. I switched to the LS6 valley cover and while reinstalling it used the teflon tape on the knock sensor threads, and I no longer get the false knock.
