tuning the 5.3 questions.
I just picked a 2005 L59 5.3L. with it being a returnless flexfuel system that i have no experience with i dont exactly know what to do here. its just the long block with intake and fuel system, no ecu. my plans are to run a 76mm turbo for the strip aiming for around 600whp, i dont plan on using E-85 its going to be a gas motor.
Q's
what ecu is best to run?
should i get the flex fuel injectors reflowed or just get higher flowing from the begining?
as far as wiring it, it dosn't have a harness either, should i go with the original harness or can a none flex fuel harness work and just un plug the sensors or plug the holes?
should i keep it none return?
and last is the vacuumless fuel pressure regulator a good idea to keep or should it just get swaped out?
I really appreciate any input. sorry if the questions make me sound like a newb. I have never delt with this kind of set up. its been N/A for me until now.
