every time i start my car it wants to revs to like 2500 rpms then comes down what could cause this this motor is out of my 2002 silverado with a lil engine work i took it out of the truck and put it in my 79 malibu and put my truck back to stock i used the same computer that was in the truck im at a lost and my tuner guy is not tryin to help cause he is about to move out of state please can 1 of u guys help of what i could start to look for the problem its at a point when i start it im scared i might blow the motor

Buy a scan/tune system, post the tune and a data log... Then, someone may be able to help. W/o that type of info, it's strictly a guessing game...

Probably just an easy tweak to the start up airflow tables. Any local tuner should be able to fix that.

As for the car blowing up by revving to 2000 rpms, I doubt that will happen.
