HP Tuners, load 2 Bar MAP and now no startup.
Just loaded the 2 BAR VCM enhancement early today. Read the file after it uploaded to double check it. The MAP chart goes up to 210, instead of 105 now. It shows 2 BAR is APPLIED. I even copy/pasted my old table info for the first portion of the chart. I remember reading something about this before and can't find it. Why will this thing not start? It tries to turn over, but never does.

You do not mention actually changing the MAP sensor
to 2Bar hardware. Not doing so would put you way off
for fuel and spark. What is your MAP reading (the one
for the custom OS, not the SAE / standard one) @
KOEO?

Not sure, I'll check when I get back home. Didn't think that would stop it from not starting. Already looked into the 2 Bar sensor. I looked over everything after it loaded. It didn't show any changes to the #s, unless I missed it!

Ok, scanned for trbl codes and it gave me P1637. Looked that up and it's about the 1 wire going to the top of the alternator. Pulled that loose and the wire looks good. I didn't even pop the hood today before loading new OS.
Decided to try to reload my old tune and WRITE ENTIRE back to the PCM. Everything worked and it cranked on the first try! Shut it off and cranked it up again, just to be sure. Only thing I did notice is my wideband is reading in the 12's now, while in park, instead of around 14.5, etc. Any ideas on this?
I might try to reload the new 2 BAR enhancement back to the PCM tomorrow after work. Maybe something went wrong and it screwed up. I just want to make sure it will load correctly before taking it for a tune.

Did you switch out the stock MAP sensor for a 2 bar one? Did you let the car get to operating temp and then check the AFR? It's going to run rich while warming up. Also, don't be surprised if the car dies the first few times after loading a new tune.

Anyone have the correct part # for the 2 bar MAP sensor. I need the one that fits in the stock location. I'm finding 2 different #s and I want to be sure before ordering it.
Is it ACDelco 213-1631 or Chevy Part # 12615136?
(I believe the 12615136 is the part I need)

The Chevy one is correct (I didn't look at the other one) but you will need to trim it to fit. It's not hard to do and only takes a few minutes. Be careful not to rip the rubber piece from the old one as you will reuse it.
