Turbo tuning tight quench engines

Turbo tuning tight quench engines
Ok I posted over in the NA and FI sections about having tight quench while boosting
Basically it sounds like I won't be able to run high boost and the tuning window is much smaller, but.. I would like to hear from pro tuners on what my options are
My engine:
- 347 iron block Ls
- stock crank
- eagle 6.125" steel h beam rods/arp 2000 bolts
- diamond flat tops/-2cc reliefs (2618 aluminum)
- 317 heads 72cc's
- compression is 9.7-1
- ls9 head gaskets .051-.053 thickness estimate
- piston is out of hole + .020
- piston to wall clearance is .0585
- which leaves me with roughly .031-.033 quench
- 76mm turbo front mount setup
I was planning on 91 octane and Alky control progressive meth setup.
I know my quench is on the tight side, I did not plan that out intentionally. I had the block machined and decked and that's what we ended up with!
So how hard is it to tune with tight quench and a turbo, will I be boost limited? If so by how much?
Can I combat it with running more meth early on? Or possibly switching to E85?
Thanks for the help
