4l60e acting sluggish
Hey I was checking with anyone who has gone through what I'm going through with my trans. I have a 4l60e in my c10 swap. I'm having problem with it. When I put it drive and give it gas it's sluggish like to a point it will barely move. I dang near have to floor it. When in reverse it does the same thing but I don't have to floor it as bad. my truck couldn't go up on a trailer. What could it be? I don't smell any burned fluid. Now I do have my shifter cable out of whack. It will go into park but will not go into low 1. Another thing to is that upon filling the trans with fluid I didn't load the tc with any fluid prior to installation. Idk what is it. Is it not being in the right gear or not enough fluid or what. I hope it's not the transmission itself thanks for any advice

In addition to fluid level, there could be other things:
- filter not installed properly (sucking air, you would see pink froth on dipstick),
- filter is clogged with friction material,
- PCS solenoid shorted to ground via pinched harness (excess current, pulls pressure down);
- TC not installed properly (pump damaged);
Usually you would put a pint of fluid in the TC before installing it, but this is just to prevent a dry start... as soon as the pump spins it is pumping fluid into the TC.

Hey guys I took all your advice into consideration and as it seems all things checks out. Now this is my new problem. I checked my trans pigtail connector. I checked 2 pink wires in cavity E n N with the key on n no power. So I traced I check the pin on the pcm 75 blue 63 red with key on n still no power. Now I had a mail order tune done by vengeance racing but with an older transmission but I installed a 4l60e and sent it back to them to add the profile. Now do you think that's my issue or u think that my wire harness coming out of a truck that had a 6.0 n the pcm is out of a 5.3 a problem too? Common sense is telling no thanks fellas

That's what I'm trying to find out. You are the 2nd person to say that about my pcm having a manual transmission tune. How do I go by flashing it for a auto tune? I don't get it I sent it back specifically for the 4l60e install.

Most of the 4L60E/4L80E solenoids have Batt power going in one side, and the PCM grounds the other side...
the PCS force motor is an exception, the PCM has wires going in both sides.
You really should be looking at a wiring diagram.
