Guidance for mail order tune options
Being a few hours away from any dyno machine/tuner, I'm planning on getting a mail order tune from texas speed--who supplied the VVT1 cam for my LY6 swap job into my daily driver. I figure their tune would optimize the cam and they would know what they are doing with everything else.
Engine is still mild with mentionable upgrades to:
1) cam/springs
2) bigger injectors (60#)
3) underdrive/harmonic balancer pulley
Transmission is from performabuilt with a 2800 stall.
There seems to be quite a few options TSP can include in the tune, much of which I don't know if I'd need or not for a street car/mild build.
Other than the typical options such as VATS removal, rear gear and tire size that will be done, what other options should I consider?
Here's what's off the top of my head:
1) adjust the duty cycle for the larger injectors
2) lower fan activation temp
3) remove rear o2 sensor check for OBDII scanning
4) remove any other evap/emission checks not included in my wiring harness (PSI)
Anything else that I'm missing?
