HP Tuner- How do I set what paratmeters to scan?

HP Tuner- How do I set what paratmeters to scan? I guess I just dont see it. I've been scanning with whatever the default is, but is there a way to get more parameters, or scan less parameters to make it read more frames per second?
I was stuck in "getting starded with vcm suite" help file and was like WTF thats it? lol
