Default idle and cam

can you get rid of the raw gas smell at idle with a 230/230 591/591 cam, or does that just come with the territory, if you can fix it how do you in edit. i have done the ve tables 60/80/90

What area of the VE table did you do? Hopefully it was 400-1200rpm. You will have some but it should not be that overpowering.

If you do not have any idle problems then I would look else where. You did not mention if this happened when it was a hot start or all the time. I had the smell on hot starts because it was trying to find idle. The VE table cured my woes. Have you tweaked you IFR's?
