Please Help me ,why does my 2nd auto tap run have KR
I logged 2 runs tonight about 15 min apart.Coolant Temps for both runs were 180-190 range,Outside Temp about 77 degrees.Please Help me understand why my 2nd A Tap run is got KR?I mean it was so bad I felt the detination around the Bell Housing area,it was almost like it was Bucking (missing)really bad.What could cause this,Could it be Poor Fuel?My Tuner has a max of 4 degrees to pull out and it used it all

But yet on my 2nd run my IAT was cooler go figure,I dont get it my first run is always ok ,its the 2nd and 3rd that look bad.Please Help

Tip-in knock,huh?How could you tell that?I am missing something.My numbers are jumbled and my auto tap doesnt log like it used to,I use to get more data on a run.But what am I missing?So I guess if I take my MAF Translator and richen it up for WOT only,I should see the KR disappear?Thanks for the Help Another_User

means the thing was dead lean for an instant.
What baffles me is why there was no KR on the first
pull.
Your ATAP has a limited PIDs x rate capability. More
PIDs after a point will slow it down. Need to check
the docs on that. I know on my EFILive and HPTuners
you can get 10x24 but I believe ATAP was less rate?
Fattening up the VE in the 2000-3000 range would
probably help cover the "hole". There is no explicit
"pump shot" feature. But if you're only tuning with
a MAFT then your options are few. Plus, the MAFT
has to be making the already-slow MAF even a bit
slower.
To ease this you might want to roll the throttle on
slower, minimize the MAP delta per tick and let the
MAF have a better chance to stay with the airflow.
Snap the throttle open and you're on the speed
density tune until the PCM expects the MAF to be
back on plane.
'Course, the faster you go, the less data you get
means the thing was dead lean for an instant.

Well ,I do have a little banging going on but my tuner tuned it out, why no KR on first run?I mean to tell you the Car was Bucking,Thats what I was feeling.Jimmyblue I can try to fatten up the VE,How much should I add in the 2000-3000 range?I have HP tuner ,I am just going to try 2-4% rich @ wot with my MAFT just to see what it does....Thanks...
