Default A/C Idle issues in Y-Body and stalling when the throttle is slammed shut

Having a problem helping out my freind. He has a 382 stroker with a solid roller 252/256 in it. Start up idle is fine and most of the time idle is fine. But, whenever you floor it in neutral to rev it up the RPM's drop to about 400 and then the car will stall. Same thing when the A/C is running, most of the time it's fine but sometimes it will just not idle at all. Right now the idle is set at 1200 and there is a 3/16" hole drilled in the T/B. Any help would be appreciated.

My thought is that this has something to do with either the throttle cracker or the throttle follower?
