4l60e shifting does the speedo plug have to be plugged in for the tranny to shift ive converted back to a 4l60e plug has come up mia but the tranny will not shift so im thinking the computer is not reconizing it
please anyone with info

4L60E, & LS-1 in my 1956 p/u. When plugged up I nave no 3rd or 4th but when unplugged I get all gears but no passing gears, I have changed both shift solonoids.
What am I doing wrong
