Oil pressure reading 129 lbs.

Is there any way to check the oil sending unit or guages on a 98 ls1 Vette. Oil level is good.

Replace it (sending unit). It's unlikely that your oil pump is producing 129lbs or pressure.

That looks like a clip/limit value to me. If you're lucky,
it's just unplugged.
