HP TUner EGR Question
I finally created my first tune for Marie and I tried throwing in the Disable EGR.
It immediately triggered an SES light.
1. Can it be Disabled in HP Tuners without triggering SES light?
2. Can it be Disabled and still pass OBDII Emmisions?
I don't think I have to pass emmisions in NC but I still would like to set it that way just incase.
I'm sitll running on CT plates and License for now so I'm good for awhile.

I wanna disable it that way and still not trigger SES light.
I don't know how to access and change hte codes so this doesn't happen.

Yes you do. Better make sure they are definitely out/off.

Question. IF I'm running way rich during normal driveing and mid rpms at WOT but hitting max duty cycle at high rpms and leaning out. Will Disabling my EGR lean me out more?

I plan on putting 50 to 100 miles on it tuesday night after resetting the ltrims to relearn. So on weds I'll get accurate info and have wideband af settings to tune with.
Then I just put all my schedule and planning on hold untill I get the Wideband and HP tuner upgrades to properly use the software.
YOu guys are right. I shoudln't be doing any modding until I know what I'm doing with this software. Except for injectors though. Because I'm at 97% Duty cycle at 5k rpms
