Default What to look for using N20

I just got HP Tuners a few days ago... I just raised my rev limiter to 6500...

I'm getting ready to log a few runs using 100 shot dry n20. How do i know What am i looking for? What am i looking for? Once im done What will i need to edit using the vcm editor?

Whats a safe setup to use 100 shot dry n20?

My car is basically stock. Mods in sig. No other computer mods other than the rev limiter raised.

Thanks

keep an eye on timing and knock retard (IMO, any retard is bad). do you have a wideband? if not, keep an eye on the o2 voltages at WOT, not as accurate, but better than nothing. mine are around 950's at WOT with a 100 wet shot (waiting on the lc-1 wideband release so i can make sure my a/f ratio is good).

as far as editing, sounds like you're fairly new at hptuners. read the help file included, it helps a LOT

No i do not have a Wideband..

Yes i just got the HP tuner yesterday. I've read and re read the help files they are pretty good, but its hard to figure out what im looking for when i dont know what im looking at. I guess i just dont understand what eveything does and what everything means. Kinda like if xx happens then what i need to adjust to fix it. Although, i did raise my rev limiter to 6500 rpms, but i havent touched anything else.

I would definitely log the KR and also the injector pulsewidths;
shove it out into Excel later and do an injector duty cycle
calculation. If you are getting close to the line don't go any
bigger on the shot. Dry, you have only the injectors and they
can only deliver so much. I think if you're over 80% duty at
WOT upshift, with the juice off, you might ought to not try
a 100 shot (this being well more increase as a percentage of
current engine output, than the 20% of capacity you've got
left).

It would probably be safest to pull out WOT timing at first
and then slowly add it back in, keeping an eye on ping. See
any, pull back a couple of degrees. Don't count on knock
retard to save your ***, it only shows up after the crime
has been committed. Just use it as an indicator. Your best
torque timing is a couple of degrees less than makes you
ping.
