I just received my Hp Tuners.I have 25 pin serial port on my laptop but my cable is 9 pin.Can I use a 25 to a 9 pin adapter like they sell at Radio Shack and make it work?

I was going to get one of those but I have read they may cause communication problems. If this doesn't work I am off to Best Buy.

I've been using mine with LS1Edit for about 2 year now with no problems.

you'll have no issues running HP Tuners off a USB adapter... the 25 pin adapter is actually a parallel port

we recommend this one from Keyspan. Please ensure you do NOT buy a Belkin or one of its derivatives (eg. Targus) they are junk at best.
