Hi , long time since i have been lurking around here, a friend of mine has a weird problem.
Hot Rod
LS1 Engine and trans
Wiring harness from Street and performance
PCM from Street and performance

Everything was hooked up to an engine with S&P before they shipped it, and it ran fine.

At my friends place, engine starts like a champ, fires right up, runs for 5-6 seconds then stop like you switched off ignition. ???



We use Ease scan and cant see any DTC ?
We also monitor different parametre and can see that injectors shut off after 5-7 seconds, 5.45 ms idling, then just turn them off ????


Anyone that has a clue on where to start ?

What can cause injectors to shut down like that ?

Sounds like the vats system is not disabled.

Well it is supposed to be, it ran fine over at S&P, and i took a snapshot of PCM with HPT, and VATS is disabled in Engine diagnostic

???

But thanks for your input, this will propably (or hopefully) end up with a smple solution.
My friend has struggled over a year, he recieved two wrong sets before they admitted something had to be wrong. with the first set it would never start...

It sounds like a fuel pump issue. I remember when I was troubleshooting my cars VATS system before and I bypassed it, but I couldn't find the bypass for the fuel pump signal. The pump primed, and the car would start up fine but shut off after a few seconds.

OR the pump is straight up dead?

I am having the same problem BUT the pump it maintianing voltage but it seems as if the injectors are getting cut

Same problem here.
2004 6.0L fires and then dies after a few seconds.
I had the Vats disabled with HP tuners and it is still doing it.
WHATS THE FIX!?
