Question Need some advice on tuning friend's 2002 ss

Well just finished logging and tuning buddie'e stock 02 ss with functioning ram hood and air lid.

First logging was as from factory

LFTR was +11 across the board with some +15
I was like wow!!

So I began the process of ve tuning, turn the maf off and relogged.
Now the LFTR right on with +-3 across the board with just tuning the MAF OFF.

Does the MAF need to be rescaled for the intake track mods????

Also went up 4* up on the timing, well thats were we ended up at.

removed all torque managenment from trans section in hptuners

we ended up leaving the maf turn off for now, until I learn how to rescale a maf

Not to sure on the shifts setting can somebody point me in the right direction???

Or does somebody have a well tuned stock bin file for an 02 a4 that I could look at????

Any other tip or hints that I could use???

Thanks in advance for the help.

Should not need to mess the MAF tune around for lid
& factory hood. Check for signs of MAF molestation,
K&N filter?

why in fact it does have a k&n filter, but never reoiled it since it was new. still clean yet. So I think what your saying is clean the maf and good to go??? Thanks for the tip.

Any trans setting tips for me to use???
