SD Tuning Issue
This is a "race" car so as far as driveability we're just looking for enough to stage and get back to the pits. This is the issue: at idle or decel with the brakes on and your foot off of the throttle, the PCM delivers only 7 or 8 degrees of timing. How can we go about bringing this up so the car will continue to run?

check to see what your base spark tables are commanding, and if the amount you are reading vs the amount you are asking for are not inline, find out where the pull is coming from.
Also, take a looksee at your low octane tables at low rpms. see what you are asking of the motor there as well.

The lowest commanded timing is 18*. Whenever you hit the brakes on the car (and only when you hit the brakes), timing drops to only a few degrees. This problem does not exist under any other conditions.
