Default problems with a buddies car..need help...

I personally think he has a leak somewhere letting air in....
but heres the situation...
he just swapped from an ls6 to an lsx intake...
he als swapped injectors at the same time to 42.5# injectors...
and of course the lsx came with a throttlebody attatched...
and the lsx came off of another car...which ran fine with it on it...

I put in his new injector tables...and turned the key...
and it just climbs rpm...kind of quickly.... climbs up to 6000 rpm in 2 or 3 seconds....
we even tried plugging the TB hole with our finger and still same problem(we were wondering if the previous owners hole was too large or something)
what things should I look for.... besides a leak...
am I missing something??
car ran perfect before intake/TB/Injector swap..

I believe he did...but I will ask him again when I talk to him next...( i sent him a pm for now)
he's going to remove teh intake and double check everything again...
I also told him to make sure he got all the o rings in properly...and all teh injector o-rings as well...and told him to make sure that the injector sealed and teh o-ring went into the hole and is not just sitting on top of it leaking air...

I've heard of LSX's not sealing well between the uper & lower portions. You could put a light bead of silicone on the seal & see if that cures it.
