problems with pe need help
No matter what I do whenever I enter pe mode it is too rich and not running at commanded afr. Ive even tried setting the whole table 1.112 and I get mv in the 940 range, they do seem to come down slightly with consecutive wot runs but it should be around 900 at least and its not. Ive turned off cat over temp protection, I am missing something here and its really frustrating.
Please help before I drive this thing off a damn cliff.
I do have larger injectors and only tuned the ifr table for them (this might have something to do with it)

Open Loop Fuel/Air vs ECT vs MAP table needs
to have a lower value than the PE table, in the
MAP range where WOT puts you (and wherever
you want the PE-commanded value) or OLFA
will set the final fuel air multiplier, auction-style
(richest commanded, wins).

Interesting... truck uses a flat (unenriched) table while
my car has a MAP-proportional enrichment. Trucks I
guess use only PE. That could be hassling you in cases
where PE is held off by TPS, MAP, other (?) enable
logics - no enrichment at mid-MAP?
You don't need (or want) to zero it, 1.00 is low enough
that some (any) other enrichment will beat it out.
But that leaves open the question of who is setting the
enrichment, since it's not this guy.
I think the only thing to do is to go through all of the
tables, the adders & multipliers, and see which of them
has the observed fuel/air multiplier value in it, or a
value that happens to account for the difference. Maybe
you have some PE adder that's sitting on top of the
main value (like if changing the PE reduces the FAM
but the FAM is always offset higher by 0.xxx).

So what you are saying Jimmy is that if you adjust the PE table and the A/F ratio does not drop to a satisfactory range, you should adjust it in Open Loop Fuel/Air vs ECT vs MAP, so that the highest open loop numbers are lower than the PE numbers? B/C that will solve alot of things, that I have encountered.
