Default 4Channel to 3Channel setup?

I posted this here because of the computer question....

I have a 99 Z28 that came with 4channel ABS/ ASR system. I now have a 3channel rear in the car.

Rather than spend the cash to get the axels setup with reluctor rings and swap brake brackets......could I convert the car(electronically) to 3 channel?

Is it possible to flash the BCM to a 3 channel system and delete the ASR function? Then all I would need is a different connector to go to the ABS sensor on the center of the rear. Correct?

I would like to get the ABS back and get rid of the two lights on the dash(ABS inop, ASR off). Don't need the ASR anyway.

Think the only device that can reflash the BCM is the tech2. Maybe someone else will chime in, or you could call a dealer.

Yeah...I'm sure the only way to do the BCM is to use tech 2.

I'll probably stop by the dealer sometime to see about it. Just wondering if anyone had actually done it.
