Default PE Delay RPM, confused...

Well after reading the forum and what a few people have said that if its set for say 5500rpm (which is what it is stock 2002 z06) that PE will not enable till 5500rpm, no matter what the TPS/RPM/PE table shows.

Now today I did a scan with it still set at 5500rpm PE Delay and I noticed if I went to about 70% TPS my commanded would go from stoich to about 12.6 (which is probably what my PE is set at that point). So I know its not grabbing this from the OFLA table since im still not in open loop at 70% TPS.

Does this PE Delay do nothing for ETC TB fitted cars or am I missing something?

If you check the help file, it should mention that this feature is only active on Truck PCMs. It has no bearing on your tune.

Got it.

Soundengineer, guess this is something you dont need to recommend to people anymore because its not valid on Fbodys or Ybodys.

That little box throws a lot of people for a loop...I balked at the same thing when I saw it.

If the PE rate is set to 1 (as on F-body, stock)
then the mode delay doesn't matter. I couldn't
say whether, if you -tried- to make a slow PE
ramp, the delay RPM threshold is active or not
on these cars.
