tranny freshly rebuilt and 3-4 get lost help

tranny freshly rebuilt and 3-4 get lost help okay i have a 98 camaro ss a4.i just rebuilt the tranny 3 weeks ago.my first problem was that at wot 3-4 wouldnt go in ,turns out it was the pressure sensor or selenoid.problem fix.then now 3-4 will go in every now and then and get of of gear and i have to put the car in 2.wat can this be.my tranny mech was called several places and has told him i have to reprogram my ecm or something like that?also i have a vibration problem in 3rd gear high rpms and minor in 4th.they also told him it probaly ecm tuning as well.now my question is why will ecm tuning do anything with vibration?and can tuning fix my 3-4 problems?
