Default Ugly Timing Table

Well, I just thought I'd share this timing table with you guys. It's the stock table out of the LPE programmer for my non-intercooled magnacharger on my 99 FRC. I think it could use a little bit of work as it looks like the topography of mountain village to me. I really haven't been too concerned about the timing lately because I know the fuel trims are still off, and I'm not going to fool around with that until I find time to install my wideband that's collecting dust.

Does anyone have a bin from another non-intercooled maggie? I'm curious to see if this is just LPE's dirty tune or the standard handheld tune that gets passed around.

Looks like fun in the state park to me.

What do you mean by interpolation?

Averages the values from the surrounding cells.

Exactly, you beat me to it.

Like if one value is 24* @ .56 g/cyl 3600 rpm and the other is 29* @ .60 g/cyl 3600 rpm it will estimate the value between the two at .58 g/cyl. It might then run 26.5* of timing or something like that.

I have some work ahead of me...

Talking

Well I did a little bit of work to it and I think it's looking much better now. I'll probably still be tweaking it for awhile, but it ran great - no KR. I don't know if it's just the placebo effect, but I think it runs better now . I also noted that I can break the tires loose in 2nd now, but I'm not sure if that's due to it being cold outside (cold air= more power and cold air= cold tires) or me adding some timing in some places.
