Any lid is worth dyno proven horsepower on a stock car.

Back when lids were first designed, they did back to back tests between a lid and a high-flow cone filter right off the throttle body. The lid lost no real hp/tq, so you're not going to get much better for the money.

I saw a few 2002 SS's in bowling green last year, All of the ones I saw had a factory SLP lid.

A lid is a lid... I have no idea how this could be construed as a PCM tech question.... and this question is asked every 3-4 days in the external section.... (though I would avoid SLP like the plague)
