Default sharing a tach signal??

im about to hook up my wideband and my bmn nitrous controller. can i just run one wire from the tach and then split it to each?
im guessing no, but its worth asking.
thanks,

yeah, my tach signal goes to my tach, window switch, and to the wideband. I tapped ecu wire#10(white wire). I physically split it about 6 inches from the PCM module.

cool, i was just worrying about drawing to many volts by splitting the signal. ive heard alot of people having voltage troubles with their widebands.

It could get loaded down if the device you hook up too it has very low impedence, im sure you will be ok though.

The tach should be a pulse per minute signal, not a variable voltage. The lower ohm loading shouldnt affect it (within reason).

If you hang something on there that presents too low
an impedance to ground, it may depress signal amplitude
and fail to cross the threshold expected by some of the
"listeners". Then you might have to add a pullup resistor
to help it out.
