Default Front O2 switching or in my case not switching

Many here have been following my quest to get my front O2s to switch enough to be accurate.

I had a chance yesterday to log another C5 with LG Pro Headers. His O2s were switching like mad, good sharp/hard zigzags. This was a complete H/C and every bolt car and NO cats…

Considering I have swapped in three different types of O2 sensors (always the rear high wattage type), coated the headers, wrapped the headers, switch header brands, I think I am beat. I still have the slow rollercoaster looking switching pattern. I get the insufficient switching code every time I start the car.

There is something wrong with my short block. It is the ONLY part that has not change. Maybe broken rings are venting oil vapor into the cylinders and cooling the gases (I know I am reaching)...

I am beat...

It may be time to dig into the proportional fueling stuff,
that controls how much is added / subtracted by the
"dithering" process to get cross-counts. You may be
set up with values that just kick you from ditch to
ditch, and bury the sensor squaring it up and slowing
it down.

I don't have a real good grasp of the details but there
may be some folks who've gone down that path and can
tell you what makes it swing tighter.

If you can inspect the other guy's tables maybe there is
something to see, there.

I'd like to hear more about the proportional fueling...esp. at idle. My C5 has a similar issue. Either O2s don't swing at idle, or with some fuel changes they swing, but look like the rocky mountains.
