Default How do I get logs from a laptop to a desk top?

OK I have a EFIlive scanner on an antique laptop with Windows 98. Its an old IBM Think pad and does not have any kind of CD burner and is not hooked up to the internet. I need to get logs over to my desktop inside the house. Is there a way to do it? I'm much more a car guy than a computer guy so don't get too technical.

USB Flash drive is going to be the best bet.

Here is an inexpensive one that should do the trick...

On some PC's, the USB is in the back of the computer, making it not fun for swapping. So I bought a USB extender cable ( 3 ft ) that allows you to plug in the flash drive without having to crawl behind the PC. FWIW.

OK guys done but it was not easy.
Bought a flash drive but found out you have to download Windows98 driver off the internet. Since the laptop has no internet access I was back to square one. I ended up downloading it inside the house , burning it to CD, going outside to install the driver with the CD then finally getting the info on the flash drive to bring back inside.

Its all good now. Thanks for the advice.

I write and store all my bins and logs right on the USB that way it stays portable.
