it's not going to be used unless you plug your MAF back in... the only disclaimer being that I don't know if some of the custom SD tunes by EFILive and HPT might use the primary table if it is unplugged (I think HPT gets rid of the secondary table altogether)

****, so I probably need to go in and change the primary table to reflect my secondary table, even though the primary table has increments of 5. Does anyone have a way too fill those values in??? Like 25, 35, 45 etc..

well I just always guess myself...maybe someone here has a spreadsheet they use...my guessing usually just involves basically averaging the 20 and 30 values to get the value for 25, and then possibly adjust up or down based on what I think the curve is doing, if it is linear, exponentially increasing, or seems to be approaching an asymptotic value (if that makes any sense). in that way I'm not always using a linear interpolation.

I wish there was a way to force the VCM to use the primary table when you are logging and/or if you are in SD mode (ie get rid of the damn secondary table altogether). It sure the hell would make the resolution and quality of tune better. (the 1-bar SD tune from HPTuners I think does get rid of the table, but beings that I own a bastard child of the LS1 tuning world, a 1998, I don't get that option)

but guessing is the only method I know of unless someone would like to jump in with some other info

Yeah, I know its hindsight, but that's why I fill in the primary first, then copy the necessary rows to the secondary.

Short of Excel, maybe you could copy the secondary to the primary, then highlight only 2-3 rows at a time and smooth them.

well, if you have ls1edit you can't even copy and paste, or have a real scanner...
well, it's time to buy something bigger and better, sorry to bring you the bad news, but programming your own car is the best mod you can do, as it comes with learning and being able to diagnose and quantify problems and bottlenecks.
