i have a 98 ss six speed that i purchased recently. the car has very little done to it other than a hypertech programmer. this is fine other than the guy i bought the car from lost it mysteriously. so now i am stuck with the program in my car and no way to remove it. i dont know what to do. i just bought a nitrous kit and i am afraid to use it untill i can turn the timing down and with out the programmer i am out of luck. any info would be greatly appreciated

update your location... maybe someone local can help you out (anyone w/EFI Live or unlimited 98 support w/HP Tuners can download your binary, manually set the params back to stock, and then reflash)
