Are G techs ss acurate?

yes, they are pretty accurate. when i hade my SHO my buddy had one of the earlier ones and it was pretty much dead on. i've seen a couple of outside tests of them where they are consitantly within a few 100ths in the 1/4. i think Hot Rod did one test.

all conditions the same... they're somewhat accurate for determining if you're running quicker/faster... it's wishful thinking to think they're accurate w/in 100ths of the 1/4 mile though (i wouldn't trust them much more than +/- 1 second ... and even that is really pushing it....

I have a Gtech RR and I'd say it's pretty accurate. More importantly, it's consistant.

I have one and it seems pretty consistent, It's anywhere within 1/2 second from actual, but its useful for seeing if mods add any power

I have the ooold Gtech Pro (the one that looks like a radar detector) and its not too accurate, but it is pretty consistent. It's pretty good for measuring changes between modifications. I haven't tried any of the newer ones though.
