Default Throwing a Code

I was Driving to work today and my first SES light came on . I threw on the handheld and a code P1416 showed up. I looked it up and said it had to do with the AIR. Would that be the AIR pump going bad? I erased the code to see if it comes back up. Thanx for and info.

I did a little more looking around and found Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System Bank 2 (GM) What does that mean?

Air injection into exhaust manifold at startup, passenger side, runs for about three minutes but takes its good natured time throwing the code. Look for a small pipe coming from header going to a round black check valve, thump it or replace it. Usually under ten bucks. They tend to rust shut.

Yep, passenger side air check valve is most likely clogged - been there, done that. GM PN 12565503 or local parts store.
