the program itself is pretty simple to use IMO, its having a basic understanding of engines, their parts, sensors & how they interact with one another that is what you'll need to grasp.

how much does this programmer run i want to be able to tune my car on my own laptop is that how it works and do u suggest road testing it or dyno testing, i prefer road cause its more realistic anyways i want to be able to tune other ls1 camaro/trans am 98-02 what program do i need and how much?

starting price for hptuners is $499 and their pro version is $649...both come with enough credits to tune 4 vin locked 98-02 fbodies or you could do a year lock & still have some credits left over to use as you please...just one more great thing about their licensing scheme

credits are $49.99 each or you can buy them in bulk at a discounted rate
most vin locks are only 2 credits & 75% of which is credited towards the year locked license
most year locked licenses are either 4 or 6 credits depending on the vehicle

hey foff I just ordered the hptuners to reflash my 98 Z28 from auto to manual setup. But it would be nice to fine tune the car and get more out of it, any chance you could maybe help me out when i get back to NJ? I'm in IL right now on leave until late this month
