Default 98 to 99+ LS1 PCM conversion?

just wondering if its very hard to convert to a 99+ LS1 PCM coming from 98 LS1 PCM and what exactly is involved, as i would like to have better tuning options with my 98 trans am. This would be very helpfull in the case of using a wideband setup with a tuning program like HPTuner, that way i can tune in realtime rather then log it and manualy adjust.. which is a pain

sorry if this is the wrong forum but i figuer some of you guys would know, if someone could point me in the right direction that be great

thanks

It's a bit of a headache, but like the previous poster said, Doc knows. You have to REALLY want a 99+ pcm to do it. There's a couple posts here about it.
