p1125 gas pedal positioning problem with conversion
Just went to start my conversion ls2 into a 69 camaro motor and it just
runs for 3 seconds and dies. Its a electronic throttle body, with
a 2000 ls1 computer , 2002 vette tac module and pedal. This is the only code.
I brought the ecm to a place and they were suppose to turn the
electronic throttle control ON on the ecm but who knows. The pedal
and tac were bought used and it's a new speartech harness. I can't
find anywhere how to test these the pedal and tac module. The car one
out of 20 times revved up to about 3000rpm for about 6seconds
and thats it. Otherwise just dies after 3 seconds. The only tool I
have is a scanner. The car needs to be runnning before my dyno tune.
Thanks

Same code, somewhat different problem
Doesn't look like you're having much luck with answers.
I too have a P1125 error code. My electronic TB does not respond at all. And the car starts somewhat difficult. I also see in some places it says that is the "GM App System". I have no clue what that is.
Oh, my characteristics are:
Hoping that another post here generates some responses.

Oh, my characteristics are:
- Used Pedal
- New Tac Module from Speartech
- Wiring Harness, including Pedal harness, from Speartech
- 2004 Corvette LS1, and Pedal
Hoping that another post here generates some responses.

Update on my situation
Sorry guys for the lapse...
I am doing an engine conversion: its a 1956 Chevrolet Convertible. The engine is a new crated 2004 Corvette motor, bolted up to a 4L60e transmission, with F-Body items to make it work, such as the flex plate, and harmonic balancer. Entire drivetain and sensors are brand new. Gas pedal and PCM are used.
Since posting this, I did this: I cleared the code; I could hear some clicking of some kind at teh front of the engine when I pressed the foot feed, but within a few seconds the light would be back on.
I unplugged, and re-plugged the connector to the gas pedal several times, thinking maybe the connectors needed to be cleaned. The gas pedal now works.
Now, the check engine light is out, but I now get an orange (instead of red) light on the testing meter; I still get the P1125 code; and my tach still does not work.
So, I made progress, but still have a problem.
