Injectors won't fire at all...hp tuners..Please help
car is an 03 Z06
I put on a new intake manifold and injectors and...
I changed to an sd 2 bar OS, but the car wouldn't start, so I wanted to put back the original tune, and...
I was doing a WRITE ENTIRE and the car's battery voltage went low. The write stopped before completion.
I changed the battery and with the key on, messages like reduced power, service traction ,etc appeared as well as the fuel gauge showing empty.
started hp tuners which was in recovery mode, but the write took.
Car starter works, plugs fire, fuel pressure is at 60 psi, but the injectors don't fire.
I emailed hp support who replied that the pcm was fried.
Several sites including gmparts direct list 01 and 03 PCM's as being the same part number, so...
I put in the PCM from my 01 C5 which had the same tune and still no injectors.
Tried disabling vats and relinking as well and still no go.
something is bringing down or not allowing the injectors to fire, even though in scanner it shows that they are pulsing.
Even swapped injectors and no go.
The service manual states that the theft deterrent system is controlled by the BCM (body control module) which disables the starter, through a relay, but also uses a password to tell the PCM whether to turn on fuel or not.
Manual also describes the process of relinking the bcm and pcm when either is replaced.
Could my pcm have lost it's password ot is there anything else that might be causing the problem
car had a few dtc's (all history), but no P codes
I cleared them all and still no go
Please help if you can
Thanks

although they both use the 411 pcm they have a differnt o\s. full force program it, you should be golden. if your scanner is not capable of reading 'B' codes disable vats.

thanks for the replies guys....after several days with fuel pressure, spark tester and injector pulse checker hooked up, the PCM decided (for reasons unkown) to simply fire up the car like there was never anything wrong with it.
Strange indeed, but I am extremely releived.
Thanks again for the help
