Can you have Handheld and custom tune at same time?
In other words, suppose you have a handheld programmer that doesn't delete AIR/EGR/Rear O2's, but does everything else you need it to do for the moment...if you decide at a later time to add longtubes and delete those 3 items to cancel the SES light, can you retain the "tune" of the handheld or will it be cancelled?

I believe you are saying get the AIR/EGR/O2's turned off first, then load the handheld tune into the car, since the handheld won't bother it because it can't change it anyway? Or am I bass ackwards?

What handheld are you talking about here?
The Predator will save whatever is on your PCM and allow you to make any changes you would like (like deleting AIR, EGR, and rear O2s) without installing any 'tunes' from the Predator itself.
It will allow you to alter any tune on a GM PCM except tunes from another handheld.
You would use the factory hp tune in the Predator, not the Diablo tune, as this tune would alter the timing and fuel curves.
