Default Can i use my OBD1 with an 02 ls1?

There is a cammed 02 LS1 engine~430 RWHP near where i live for sale, but the guy said i couldnt have the PCM with it unless i found another one for an 02 that the guy could have. How hard would it be to hook everything up to the OBD1 in my 94 and get a good tune out of it?

You can buy a used PCM from places like madz28. It will have the stock tune in it unless you also order a tune. Just a thought.
