WTF: car won't go into closed loop?!
WTF: car won't go into closed loop?! I have an 02 Z06 that I have been tuning with EFI live for six months or so. It was pretty much where I wanted it. A couple of weeks ago it started running rich and kind of crappy. I put the lap top back on and it is commanding 13.6 AFR and my LTFT's and STFT's aren't working. They read 0's as if I had turned them off. It has reverted back to Open loop. This all pretty much started after I had my column lock replaced.
I have gone through and double checked everything. I even went back to the stock tune and changed all my pertinent perameters from there with no luck. I am lost. How can the car not go into closed loop. What else can I check.
I went into my "Commanded fuel when in open loop" and changed the perameters to 14.68 throughout as a test and the computer compensated for it. The AFR went from the commanded 13.6 and measured 13.6 with a WBO2 to the commanded 14.68 and measured 14.68. How the heck did it do that? The VE and MAF tables were untouched.
