High RPM MAF trouble

High RPM MAF trouble
I rarely run my car up to 6400 rpm at WOT, usually shift way before that. Went to the track recently and when I shift at 6400 rpm going either 1-2 or 2-3, the engine sets a P0103 MAF code. Happened again on the street today. I'm N/A making 400rwhp if I'm lucky, no way I am maxing out the MAF. MAF is clean and 100% stock. I use HPtuners on the car and I have tuned the MAF. Does this sound like a sensor problem or a tuner problem?

I think it's probably that the upper end of the VE table has not
come around to where the mods have put you for airflow, the
MAF tells the truth, the "special interests" call it a liar, pop goes
the code. This is my guess. Try comparing your VE table to some
you see on the repository site for heads/cam/headers all tuned
up for speed density accuracy, and see if it looks like you are
predicting shorter air than may be really flowing.

Jimmyblue, I'll compare, but I don't think thats the case. Its been a while since I did the VE tune, but Im pretty sure I tuned the high rpm VE.
Edit....compared to other similar combos in the repository, my high rpm VE is actually a bit higher, about 5% higher in the cells the car would be at during WOT. Weather is nasty, so I haven't bothered scanning it yet.
