Timing Tricker is a resistor inserted in the IAT module. This was a very early Mod and did not work for most; including me. Resistor at Radio Shack is cheap. Try it if you want but I say "Pass".

Most of the time the timing tricker mod causes knock. If you want to do this, don't waste your money on a module. Just insert a 4.7k ohm resistor in place if the IAT sensor on the harness to the airbox. I recommend you TAP your car and watch for KR.

I don't know what those guys are talking about! Timing tricker works great. I'm using a 5.9K ohm on 91 octane in southern Calif. My Borla got twice as loud and horsepower-mileage went way up!! No knock. All that for 20 cents.
