Default Quick Question about MAP readings

what is the appropriate range/reading at idle on a stock ci car with a fast 90? I'm going to go out on a limb and say the reading of anywhere from 58-69kpa with 0%tps is bad.

Now... I am having extreme oil in the intake and also a bit of an external oil leak(around the valley cover). If the pcv is stuck closed.... could this have something to do with it? The map sensor was a little bit loose.... go ahead and replace the map/pcv and install a catch can?

That's a high MAP but you don't say what kind of cam. I see
45-50kPa (typ 47) with a 224/224 on 116 which is still a wide
separation. Something with more duration and less separation
could be as high as you say. But then you also have to expect
the fueling is bent and depressing vacuum (raising MAP) some.

Vacuum leaks will only bother MAP in a roundabout way, by
messing with the fueling (unmetered air) and since the idle
airflow is largely speed density weighted I don't think this is
the root of it.

Can you control the motor at idle, scan tool with bidirectional
controls etc.? See if the fueling is off, it wants more spark, etc.?

its got a 232"/234" .598"/.598" on a 112.... I threw a ls6 pcv valve in it... I believe its an intake manifold gasket leak causing the oil leak/oilsmelling smoke coming from the top end... I'm going to order a new set of o-rings here in a few(pulled the intake yesterday... inspected the o-rings and reinstalled.. everything looked fine). I suppose this all could be related?

I've got hp tuners so I can log it
