Default Lockup Tuning

I pasted this from Auto Trans Section. Please give me some tuning input?..I have access to HP Tuners with a friend....Ok..just took a couple hour trip to the track with my newly built 4L60E with a 3600 Converter. The car has been tuned, but we didnt mess much with any converter stuff because it was shifting fine, and I liked the speeds that it locked up at. But now after this trip (usually it is an in town car under without much OD use)...Going 60-70mph with it in OD it will lock-up, but only "somewhat". What I mean by this is that it will cycle in and out and feel like its slipping in and out of lockup at cruise with very minimal throttle....BUT if I roll into the gas while its trying to lock...it will positively lock up and hold. So the lockup isnt slipping, but at very low throttle, it wont lock solid. It will however lock fine in 3rd. Sorry for the longwinded post. Just trying to explain. What do I need to do?...

Did you tune out the factory PWM partial lockup? If not, it will eventually burn up your TC. This sounds like your culprit.

Im not sure. We got rid of the abuse mode/TQ management, and played with some shifts and shift psi. But I dont know about that. Is it easily changed in HP Tuners?

TCC Min Duty wants bumped up to 98% and max to 99% or 100%.
This will eliminate most "slipping" at low loads. On some vehicles
you also have access to TCC locked line pressure offset to add
holding power for smaller diameter clutches.

If it's an on/off/on deal this is more likely misfire (false) detects
from the lower converter mass elevating the sensed crank/cam
jitter. You can set the misfire tables to 32767 or you can work
more methodicaly and raise them by factors of 2X at a time until
they quit bugging, and keep some degree of misfire detection in
case of real problems later.

Personally I don't favor total TM deletion on a stock trans.

Hey John I had already set your min tcc table to 90, and your max table to 100. We can try bumping the min up to 98 or so I guess and see what it does from there.
