Default HP Tuners inside

Looking to get HP Tuner, for me and a buddy's car. My car has not been tuned, but my buddy's has with another hp tuner cable. But that cable is no longer around sold with 3rd buddy's car. So if we go in together and get a new cable and tuner software for us, can we still tune his car. thanks guys

Yeah you should... Just do a read on the tune and then you can save and then modify..

correct me if im wrong, but you will have to license that tune to your software to edit it if it was done with another computer/cable/interface.

My friend tuned my car before i got my software and for me to edit it i had to use 2 licenses

YOU shouldn't need to license it twice on one piece of hardware, BUT if your friend licensed it on HIS hardware and then YOU go to tune it with YOUR hardware YES you'd need to license it with YOUR hardware since the licenses are stored IN the hardware.

Or if a custom OS (1-BAR SD RTT or 1-BAR MAF RTT) was used and left in there then you would need to use extra credits.
