Most of em seem to be about 150-200 rpms.

Is it more that they are "slower" as in response? I know with my car i realistically shift at no more than 6500 RPM when I romp on it but my tach doesn't respond fast enough so i shift a hair after 6100.

Depends on many things. My stock tach can be off as much as 500 rpm on the 1-2 shift, I no longer use the stock tach. lol

The gauges are buffered. They don't respond "fast" because it causes wear or some BS reason. Maybe if ppl saw the gauges jerking around minutely they would think something is wrong with the car. So GM takes an average and smoothes out what they display.

I'm talking about some of them being off @ idle, and holding them steady too, at higher rpms.
Most of them that are off, are off about 150-200.

well the reason is i'm banging the limiter around 6500 on the stock tach. the tuner says the limiter is raised to about 7000-7200.
