Exclamation OBDII connector not working?

just posting this in case some time it may help someone... I threw a code after a header install (misfire) and went to scan it and the scan tool said it couldnt connect. well long story short for whatever reason pin 16 on the obdii connector (which is supposed to have power) had no power.... so I fixed that and works great now.... anyone else have that happen?

the obd port is sometimes powered from the cig lighter fuse,, you probly blew the fuse and just noticed it when you went to scan your car

I had a fuse go back on mine a few years ago. It is on the inside panel. It is the same one for a cig lighter.

Yep, what those guys said. It goes the same for most manufacturers too, 20amp fuse that also power the cig lighter
