Default Lack of WOT power

I installed AR headers and Y-pipe over the winter. Since then I have noticed at 90% throttle it'll spin the tires though all of first gear, but when it's WOT nothing... ever

I thought it was road conditions, temperature, some other factor, but now am sure it's due to throttle position.

I called and made an appointment to get the car tuned in a couple weeks at Exotic Performance in Indiana.

Just wanted to hear some thoughts or if anyone has experienced a similar situation?

Have u tuned ur VE and/or MAF since the install? If not u NEED a tune to adjust this (& more) after an install like that to really reap the benefits.

No I haven't had any tuning since the install.

No one has any comments about this? What would cause this? Running too lean or possibly too rich? Timing issues?

It just seems with a MAF system, the pcm should be able to account for higher airflows and adjust fuel accordingly..?
